I had recently heard of a Semi-Annual NASSU meeting. NASSU which is the North America Somali Student Union is a Network for Somali Students in Canada and the United States. Its much like an Umbrella Organization that connects and allows for communication for Somali Student Association’s in North America.

NASSU is having its Semi Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio. SSA at the UofM was invited and as the Technology Coordinator at the UofM’s SSA i went along.

NASSU is important because its the only Non-profit organization that is out to help and protect Somali Students in North America. Here are some pictures from the Semi Annual Meeting.
